Returns Policy

At Gadget Box we pride ourselves on our superb customer service and conform to the Distance Selling Regulations, which are designed to protect you when buying items by Mail Order.
 
New Items - Refund / Exchange

If you make a purchase from Gadget Box but upon receipt of the goods realise you have ordered the wrong item, or you have just changed your mind. Simply return the goods, unused, in the original packaging and within 5 days for a full refund or exchange.

  • Goods must be returned within 5 days of receipt.
  • Goods must be in original packaging.
  • Goods must not have been fitted or used.
  • Goods must be accompanied with a copy of your receipt and a note detailing the reason for return.
  • Do not tape up, or attach labels direct to the retail packaging, please wrap the product first.
  • We cannot refund any postage charges under these circumstances.
  • We reserve the right to deduct a handling fee for any items returned to us in an unsatisfactory condition.
  • No refunds or exchanges on Special Order, Custom Built or Bespoke items.
  • No refunds on Pre-Owned or Ex-Display items.
  • Gift Certificates and Vouchers are not returnable and non-refundable.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Return must be raised via your account and an returns number must be obtained.


New Items - Packing Errors or Damaged in Transit

We do aim to get every order we despatch correct. However, we are only human so may make a mistake on the odd occasion!
If we have sent you an incorrect item which differs from that listed on your receipt we will be happy to make an exchange and pay your postage costs for returning the item (for large or high value items, please contact us and we will arrange a courier uplift)

If you should receive an item which has become damaged in transit, please inform us as soon as possible. Any damaged in transit item must be returned to Gadget Box if a replacement or a refund is to be issued.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

All goods purchased from Gadget Box are covered by a 12 months manufacturer’s warranty.

A warranty will generally cover manufacturing faults and defects but do not cover damage caused by crashing, abuse, water ingress, poor maintenance or general wear and tear, etc.

If you feel that an item you have purchased from Gadget Box has developed a fault then please contact us before returning it as most problems can be resolved through a quick email.

If the goods need to be returned

  • Goods must be clean and not covered in dirt, emptied of fuel and oil and any other substances.
  • Goods supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty card must be returned with this completed in the event of a warranty claim.
  • Goods must be in original packaging.
  • Goods must be accompanied with a copy of your invoice (emailed to you after you completed the checkout)
  • Do not tape up, or attach labels direct to the retail packaging, please wrap the product first.
  • We reserve the right to deduct a handling fee for any items returned to us in an unsatisfactory condition.
  • Return must be raised via your account and an returns number must be obtained.


Please be honest when dealing with us, we will try our best to resolve any problem you have as it is in our interest to have a happy customer, in any cases where there is no manufactures fault and the problem has been caused by the user the return will be rejected, labour will be charged at £15 per hour as well as the retail price of any parts used and finally £6.95 return carriage.

Return Procedure

1. Please log into your account and raise the return on the appropriate order, you must gain a returns number before posting any goods back to us. Goods without a returns number will be refused.

2. You return the goods back to us; we recommend you use a tracked postal service to return your item, as we cannot be held liable for any products that go missing during transit.

3. Once we receive your returned item/s, we will check to verify that it has been returned in the appropriate condition. Your replacement or refund will then be processed; if a refund is given the money will be returned to you via the same method of payment used when placing the order, all replacement items will be sent within 7 days.

4. Any shipping charges incurred in returning the product to us must be incurred by the customer in all returns cases with the exception of packing errors or damaged in transit cases.

5. If you purchased the product via a third party, such as a daily deal site, the refund will be processed directly by the third party concerned, and not by us, we will process the return within 7 days and you will need to contact the third party for your refund, they will contact us and ask for authorisation.

6. It may take up to 7 working days to process a refund or replacement once we receive your returned item back to us, please be patient and wait for this time to pass before contacting us.
